Craps is played by throwing a pair of dice on a craps table. There are about 40 different bets that can be made on craps but to get started all you need to understand is the basic passline bet and know that craps is a game of rounds.
You place the bet before the first roll of the dice in a new game and you will win immediately if a 7 or 11 is rolled and lose if the roll is 2, 3 or 12. If any other number namely the 4,5,6,8,9 or 10 is rolled that number becomes the 'point'. If the shooter subsequently rolls the 'point' before throwing a 7, your pass line bet will win. If the shooter rolls a 7 before rolling the point number you loose.
There's no time limit and a variety of side bets. The don't pass line bet is the reverse of the pass line bet - you're backing the casino. |
